'Popping Energy' Enamel Statement Pendant
'Popping Energy' is a piece that speaks for itself. Large as life and bursting with pathways of colors this piece is set atop hand forged copper set with silver. Shades of purple, yellows, greens and blue merge together, floating upward toward the spiral and out into the world. Our energy can be like nuggets of bright silver in a world that needs to have light. Hanging on a 22" copper chain attached to a handcrafted bail, it closes with an oversized lobster type closure. The pendant measures 3 3/4" in L and is 2" W. As always it is a one of a kind piece and the enamel along with the rest of it was created in studio.
I prepared all the metal used in my creations from cutting out the shapes to sanding the edges, they are really hand crafted, every step of the way. Each enamel piece must go through the kiln anywhere from 5 to 20 times to get the color built up on to the metal. I love working with enamels because of the many different patterns that show up, many that I have no control over. This is what makes them a one of a kind piece. It's great to wear art jewelry for that very reason....it will be yours alone!
