Recognized, International Jewelry Designer, Christine Keller, has decided to offer to her public the chance to own an artist signed piece of original Art jewelry, straight from her bench. These pieces are developing a following and each is unique and a statement piece. They will add to any outfit and make you the envy of your friends.
Art Jewelry, by rights, should always look like it is a one of a kind, artist made piece. This stone of Sonoran Sunrise/Sunset Chrysocolla is stunning. The natural colors of the blue green meld into the rich red bring to mind lovely sunrises and sunsets, evoking a sense of wellness and peace of soul that we all need to capture and hold onto. Being set in hand wrapped silver that has been coiled and woven to enhance its beauty, makes for a stunning combination. The red is where cuprite was married to the chrysocolla during its formation. It is finished with a silver hand hammered and formed link chain, adorned with jade, wood and red beads to continue the color theme of the main stone. This pendant measures 2 3/4" " L by 1 1/4"W. and hangs at aprox 20"
Sonora Sunset, and sometimes Sonora Sunrise, is named for the lovely and colorful sunsets over the Sonoran Desert, from which it is found. This material is from the Mina Milpillas, Cuitaca, Mun. de Santa Cruz, Sonora, Mexico.
Chrysocolla is associated with serenity, tranquility, peace, patience, tolerance, acceptance, unconditional love, meditation, calmness, hope gentleness and sensitivity. Cuprite assists us in dealing with female relationships, mother, sister, daughter, wife or a female partner. It is also said to be helpful in dealing with major problems: irrational anxieties, terror from past traumas, and fear of dying. In the metaphysical world it is called Crimson Cuprite.
